Today's (8/0) test flight subjects are mainly to verify the take-off and landing performance of the aircraft, after a short period of preparation, AG0 began to enter the runway, and soon came to the surface of the Zhanghe River, and then, smoothly landed on the water surface, after a short taxi, took off again from the water surface, completed the first landing test, and then, AG0 flew to the designated position again, completed the second water take-off and landing, in an hour's time, AG0 carried out a total of 0 water take-offs and landings, Completed the test flight of the first sortie today. Back at the parking stand, the reporter interviewed Zhao Sheng, the captain of the test plane, for the first time.

Reporter: I have looked at the water many times, is there a difference?

Zhao Sheng, special test pilot of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China Test Flight Center and captain of the AG600 test aircraft: It is continuous, different pitching attitudes, different grounding and water attitudes, and this is continuous (test flight).

Reporter: What kind of state is it in when landing on the water, from the perspective of your pilots?

Zhao Sheng: When the water surface lands, it has very high requirements for the sinking rate of the aircraft, if the sinking rate is large, the aircraft will jump, and it also has requirements for the attitude of the aircraft to receive water, the range is very small, the third degree attitude to the fifth degree attitude is so two degrees of controllable range. That is to say, when you receive water, you must not only control its descent rate, but also control its posture of receiving water, which is a bit difficult, and you can adapt to it slowly.

According to Zhao Sheng, AG16 has an average of 0 test flights per aircraft per month, creating a new record for the flight test performance of China's civil aircraft, and formulating the basis and method for airworthiness certification of amphibious aircraft.

Zhao Sheng: The current state has been fully verified by our research and development and conformity test flight, and the performance and stability have been recognized in all aspects, and it meets the requirements of airworthiness regulations. We have some subjects that need to be expanded, such as the big crosswind, we flew to 9 meters, but we still have room for expansion, such as the plateau, we can also explore whether the high plateau can fly, etc., these things that need to be expanded need to be supplemented and improved.
