As someone who used to be lazy and procrastinating, I realized the importance of self-discipline and began to practice self-control. Here are a few things I learned in the process of becoming a self-disciplined person.

1. Set yourself a goal

2. Stay away from temptation

In the face of the prosperity of the world, we are always full of curiosity and want to explore the unknown. Every day, we are faced with numerous temptations, which may be food, games, shopping, etc., which can easily distract us and affect our work and study. How can we stay focused and motivated at these temptations? The answer is, develop self-control and good habits.

3. Overcome procrastination

Procrastination is the enemy of self-discipline and can be affected no matter what. Procrastination can be overcome by setting goals and planning, limiting time, and increasing efficiency. But in fact, the essence of procrastination is a lack of incentives, so the method I adopted was to gradually increase personal motivation from passive to proactive, from small interests to large interests.

4. Develop good habits

If you want to become more persevering, you must first develop good habits. It's only when your life becomes regular that you have more control over yourself. And it's only when you develop good habits that you don't forget.

5. Learn to self-regulate

If, you feel that you are too stressed and irritable. Well, you can try the following methods to relieve your stress:

Go for a walk. In the process of walking, you will find that the original world is so beautiful, it will make you forget all the unpleasantness, thus making you more relaxed.

Listen to music. Listening to music relaxes our bodies and minds. Moreover, we can also express our emotions through music, release our emotions, and make our hearts more calm.

Do what you love. Doing what we love to do not only makes us happy, but also makes us feel happy. So, when you have nothing to do, do more things that you like and are meaningful, so that you will become more and more confident.

6. Persistence is victory

As the saying goes, if you stay the course, you're a winner. That's true. If you want to become more self-disciplined, you have to start now. Don't always think about tomorrow, don't always think about the future, and don't always feel like you don't have time. You know, time is like water in a sponge, there will always be a squeeze.

In short, self-discipline is not something that can be achieved overnight, it needs to be done step by step. However, as long as you can constantly adjust your state and methods in the process, I believe that the path of self-discipline will definitely see improvement in the near future.
