A new type of telecommunications fraud for ticket refunds and changes has targeted air passengers.
"Hello, is this Ms. Chen Yu? I'm a staff member of the airline, and you have purchased flight insurance in advance for the flight you just canceled, and this call is to refund the premium to you. ”
On the third hour of the flight, Chen Yu received a phone number with a Hong Kong domain name, and the other party claimed to be a staff member of the airline, and bluntly reported Chen Yu's name and original flight information. The other party said that now not only can the 1000 yuan deduction generated by the refund ticket be refunded to her, but also the additional 0 yuan premium, a total of 0 yuan in compensation.
Because he had indeed purchased aviation insurance and the other party gave accurate information, Chen Yu didn't think much about it, and began to cooperate with the other party's step-by-step measures.
As everyone knows, a new type of fraud trap for ticket refund and change is waiting for her in front of her.
"He sent me a domain name with only numbers, and I clicked on it to see that it was a website of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and the news links in it could be opened, which was decent." In the place where she applied for a claim on this website, Chen Yu filled in her name, mobile phone number, ID number, and bank card number as required.
After Chen Yu filled in this information, the fraudsters began to take further action.

"The other party said that my Alipay is not a corporate Alipay, and the airline cannot transfer money directly, so it can only be transferred to me through WeChat." At this time, the "staff member" asked Chen Yu to download a designated screen recording software, saying that in order to ensure the openness and transparency of the entire transaction, the whole process of the transfer should be recorded. Chen Yu later suspected that after the screen recording was turned on, her mobile phone was monitored remotely and in real time, and her every move was exposed to the surveillance of fraudsters.
It wasn't until the other party instructed Chen Yu to check the total assets of her account that Chen Yu gradually realized that something was wrong. "I wasn't happy to hear this, so I turned off the screen recording." She shirked and said that she would deal with it later, and the other party immediately became anxious and began to warn her of the serious consequences of interrupting the phone at the moment, and said that if she hung up the phone now, it would be insurance fraud, and the bank card used for payment might be frozen, and she would have to go to the offline outlets in Beijing to activate.
But Chen Yu still insisted on hanging up the phone first, and immediately searched the Internet for any related situations, only to find that he almost fell into a scam. "The background sound of the other person is very noisy, and I can feel that there are many people talking at the same time."

The source of this new type of telecom fraud points to the information security of consumers.
"What I don't understand is that I obviously bought my ticket through a regular channel, but my personal information was leaked so quickly." Chen Yu said.

It is foreseeable that the times are changing rapidly, and the means and methods of fraud are bound to be constantly updated and iterated with the social trend. If the source of the information leakage is not really thoroughly investigated, it will develop into a scam like a ticket refund and change fraud.
Lin Zhaonan questioned, "I am curious about how this personal information is packaged and sold."
Even though some passengers smell the smell of fraud, the scam of ticket refund and change still deceives some consumers of money and trust.
Not long ago, Wang Xing just experienced a ticket refund and change fraud with the same routine as Chen Yu.
"At first, I didn't believe it, but when they said I only needed to provide the code, I thought there should be no risk." After sending the Alipay collection code, the mobile phone showed that the other party's two transfers failed to pay. At this time, the other party gave the same explanation that "the function of receiving money from the enterprise account is not enabled". Wang Xing now thinks that this may be the other party's deliberate failure by entering the wrong verification code or payment code.

Immediately afterwards, a series of works by fraudsters gradually "dizzy" Wang Xing - he began to guide Wang Xing to do a series of works on various apps such as ticket-buying apps, Alipay, and WeChat. It seems that there is no problem at every step, and Wang Xing has not been cheated of money in these steps. But it is precisely because of these foreshadowing that the other party has gradually lowered the psychological defense line of the deceived.
"For example, go to so-and-so insurance to see if there is any of your insurance policy or something, but in fact, the delay insurance I bought is not from that company at all, how can I find my policy?" Looking back now, Wang Xing felt that the other party had actually had a lot of loopholes, "but at that time, the whole person was dizzy, he said a word, I continued, and as soon as he asked, I answered." This form of quick questions and answers doesn't give people time to think about anything. ”
After filling in his identity information, bank card number and payment password on a fake website called "Civil Aviation Administration of China," the so-called "insurance officer" kept asking Wang Xing to turn on the call forwarding function on his mobile phone. Later, Wang Xing found out that when the scammer used his bank card to transfer money for the first time, the bank called him four or five times in a row, but it was precisely because he turned on the call forwarding function that the bank has not been able to dial smoothly.
