In the elevator of a community in Beijing, due to physical contact when pressing the elevator, the young man Xiao Zhang waved his fist at the septuagenarian Ms. Jin, and finally Xiao Zhang was sentenced to 8 months in prison to compensate the victim Ms. Jin for all economic losses such as medical expenses and nursing expenses.

新京報記者瞭解到，2024年7月的一天，被害人金女士在電梯內按樓層按鈕時不慎蹭到小張的肩膀。兩人發生口角后，小張失去冷靜，將金女士強行拽出電梯，握拳連續重擊其面部十余次。案發後，金女士立即撥打110報警並前往醫院就診。

經鑒定，金女士的傷情構成輕傷二級，醫療費、護理費、營養費、交通費等經濟損失共計2萬余元。公安機關對小張涉嫌犯故意傷害罪一案立案偵查，檢察機關審查後，依法向法院提起公訴。金女士同時向法院提起刑事附帶民事訴訟。

The economic losses caused to the lady should be compensated, so Xiao Zhang was sentenced to 8 months in prison for the crime of intentional injury, and compensated the victim Ms. Jin for all economic losses such as medical expenses and nursing expenses.

The judge reminded that the crime of intentional injury refers to the act of intentionally harming the body of another person. If the consequences of minor injuries of the second degree or higher are caused, the standard for filing a case can be met, and a sentence of up to three years imprisonment, short-term detention or controlled release may be met. If serious injury or death is caused, the punishment will be further escalated to life imprisonment or death. At the same time, the defendant shall compensate for the direct material losses caused by the criminal act.
