Yandong Guo has an extensive resume, having studied for a PhD in the United States and then led AI research and development at Microsoft. After returning to China, he successively joined large intelligent hardware companies such as Xiaopeng Motors and OPPO, and was responsible for related R&D sectors. In 2023 years, based on a deep insight into the development trend of artificial intelligence and the huge potential contained in the new form of intelligent hardware, he resolutely resigned from OPPO and founded Zhifang, focusing on the development of intelligent robots.

Guo Yandong pointed out that with the continuous breakthrough of AI technology, a new form of intelligent hardware will give birth to a trillion-level market, and intelligent robots are one of the most potential representatives. Talking about the reason for choosing Shenzhen, he cited Shenzhen's remarkable past achievements in the field of smart hardware: one-seventh of the world's smartphones, one-eighth of new energy vehicles are produced in Shenzhen, and 70% of the world's drones come from Shenzhen. He firmly believes that Shenzhen's complete industrial chain and the advantages of promoting hardware development at the speed of software iteration will make Shenzhen a key driving force for the global development of the intelligent robot industry.

In just two years, Zhifang has achieved remarkable results. The robots developed by it can not only be displayed simply, but also have penetrated into the front line of the industry, playing a practical role in factories, public places and other scenes, creating value, and demonstrating Shenzhen's pragmatic urban spirit. Last year, in the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition held by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Zhifang stood out and became the only robot company to win the national award, which is inseparable from Shenzhen's all-round support in industry, capital, scenarios, and talents.

從產業集聚角度看，深圳南山區雖地域不大，卻彙聚了眾多機器人及相關產業鏈上市公司，還有十幾家如智平方一般懷揣壯志的機器人創業企業。同時，清華大學、北京大學分校以及南方科技大學等高校坐落於此，為產業持續輸送優質人才。在資金方面，智平方自成立起便獲得深圳當地多個千億級基金的持續注資。而在場景應用上，深圳開放了 100 個機器人應用場景，為智慧硬體企業提供了寶貴的實戰環境，助力其獲取數據、實現商業閉環。此外，此次 “百萬英才匯南粵” 活動，更凸顯深圳吸引人才的堅定決心。
