  看過小說《射鵰英雄傳》的人，都對“全真七子”之一的丘處機不陌生。1219年，他先後被南宋、金、元的統治者召請，但權衡時局後，只赴了元朝的約。當時成吉思汗正在徵討花剌子模，於是74歲的丘處機帶著尹志平等弟子從山東出發，跋涉三萬余里來到了位於今阿富汗的成吉思汗行宮。他對成吉思汗宣講了“天道好生”等思想，建議連年征戰之後，重心應該轉移到國家治理上來，后被全真教門人演繹為“一言止殺”的故事。

Qiu Chuji's westernism laid the foundation for the spread of Taoism in the Yuan Dynasty, and this precept awarded to Li Zhenchang, the fourth head of the Quanzhen Sect, is a precious testimony. The ordination is a document issued to a Taoist after a large-scale fasting ceremony, marking the official becoming a Taoist priest. According to the tradition of the Quanzhen School, only the Ten Directions Jungle Guanguan had the right to hold the ordination ceremony, and the date of ordination was mostly selected on the Shangyuan, Zhongyuan, and Xiayuan festivals. After the ordination is completed, the ordained disciple will be incorporated into the "Dengzhen" and receive the ordination as a credential. The issuance of the precepts requires not only Taoist approval, but also government approval. It is like a mirror, reflecting not only the strict management of religion in the Yuan Dynasty, but also the eternal pursuit of faith and peace of mankind.

The ring is made of three sheets of paper glued together, and the engraving is printed with 1128 columns of text. Interestingly, its text is in italics, which is quite a Song version of the legacy, but the titles of the Baoju Division, the Supervisor and others at the end of each receiving paper are in the Bian Song style. Scholars generally believe that the Song style was stereotyped in the Ming Dynasty, such as Mr. Mao Chunxiang's "Ancient Book Editions of Common Discussions" said: "Since Zhengde and Jiajing...... The font has also changed to a square type, which is stiff and sluggish...... After Wanli, the font changed again to horizontal and light...... Apocalypse, Chongzhen, the font has changed to a narrow horizontal and light straight and heavy words. But in fact, this kind of square character of "horizontal and light, straight and heavy" appeared as early as the appointment letter issued to Li Wugong, the leader of the rebel army, in the second year of Jianyan in the Southern Song Dynasty (0 years), and it was also used in the title. The horizontal and vertical may have been influenced by the Song Dynasty's nine-fold official seals, while the horizontal and vertical thickness were apparently intended to compress the long titles into one column. As for some self-media saying that Song Ti characters were invented by Qin Hui in order to attract people's attention, it is even more worthless to refute.
