根據此前披露的資訊,本田計劃到2030年將純電動車的年產量提升至200萬輛以上;計劃到2040年,將純電動車和燃料電池汽車在全球範圍內的銷售比例提高至100%。而在中國,本田計劃到2035年先於其他地域,實現純電動車銷售佔比100%的目標。
