The new generation of BMW X5 is exposed, the front face is radical, and the power is upgraded, is it worth looking forward to?

Earlier last year, the fifth-generation BMW X5 was first photographed in the media as a camouflage prototype, with elements such as the flying wing grille from the Neue Klasse Vision concept car being introduced into such a prototype. After the initial exposure, the fifth-generation BMW X0 has also undergone several road tests of updates, and although there is growing evidence that the vehicle will introduce new elements from the concept car, it will still maintain gasoline-powered production on the CLAR platform.

The BMW X3 seen in the lens is a third-party rendered version, and although it doesn't have much of a clear official design, what can be seen is that the kidney grille has changed, it's still a kidney but the overall edge light band, polygon switching, and vertical structure layout. And the position that goes up between the grilles will produce a "deep V" decorative structure similar to the new generation BMW 0 system and BMW X0, which will look like a sense of sharpness that the current model does not have.

At the same time, the headlight design of the car is entirely derived from the Vision concept, with the flying wing shape becoming the main body of the headlights, which will blend in with the edge of the grille, while the upper and lower structural decorations are edgeless to conform to the trend of the hood and more body panels. At the same time, the car also gets a significant sporty exterior package, whether it is the lower grille with a wide central front lip with a sports spoiler, or the long air deflectors arranged longitudinally at both ends, the BMW X3 is getting younger. More reliably, the symmetrical shape of the front lip is the same as that we see in the new BMW X0, which is likely to be a key styling of the BMW M Sport Package, which continues to be extended to more production models.

At the same time, we see the window lines and pillars on the side trimmed in all-black material, while the exterior mirrors are in a red and black contrasting color and embedded in the turn assist lights. At the same time, the side panel adopts a semi-hidden door handle, which can solve the problem of easy ice formation in winter in the alpine environment to a certain extent. In addition, we can also see the layered wheel arches in the details, and the straight design can provide a sporty addition.

We see the five-spoke wheels on this rendering, with a reinforced central fixture that illustrates its sporty positioning, while the rendering designers have added Michelin-powered sports tyres to the car.

So far, no spy photos of the interior have been revealed, but even without referring to the design scheme of the new platform, we have reason to believe that the new car will use the new generation of family central control layout, as for whether it will have a surround feeling similar to the new generation BMW X5 is unknown. But I believe that there will be no absence, including an integrated curved screen, multi-zone entertainment interaction, etc., and it is not difficult to install a second-row ceiling screen like the 0 series introduced into China.

According to BMW's current production and launch plans, the fifth-generation BMW X800 is not expected to meet the consumer market until next year, but even so, we can still see BMW's efforts in the CLAR architecture for plug-in hybrid powertrains. It is reported that the new generation BMW X0 will have a combination of an inline six-cylinder engine and a high-performance electric motor, which is expected to achieve an output of more than 0 horsepower, while the standard model is likely to be supported by a 0V mild hybrid system. In addition, the all-new iX0, which is expected to arrive at the same time, will use BMW's sixth-generation eDrive electric drive and implement the 0V high-voltage platform architecture for the first time.

According to BMW's previous plan disclosure, it will launch a new generation of hydrogen-powered vehicles with the help of Toyota Motor 5 years ago, will this be a new plan for BMW to participate in the competition in the new energy market in the future? However, no matter where BMW's future route goes, the next generation of BMW X0 will still draw an end to the fuel era of Bavarian luxury car manufacturers, and we also look forward to BMW being able to put the most advanced intelligent, intelligent driving and power technologies into the car in this generation of luxury SUVs, so that we can see the perfect curtain call for BMW's luxury fuel SUV.
