3月26日，廣東省統計局與國家統計局廣東調查總隊聯合發佈的2024年廣東省國民經濟和社會發展統計公報顯示，2024年終，全省常住人口12780萬人，比上年末增加74萬人。其中，全年出生人口113.3萬人，出生率8.89‰。常住人口增量、出生人口均位居全國首位。

3月11日，廣東省人力資源和社會保障廳發佈政策“大禮包”，具體政策包括畢業2年內高校畢業生等青年到粵東粵西粵北12市就業6個月，可申請省級就業補貼，標準為博士10000元、碩士7000元、其他5000元。

另外，政策“大禮包”還提到，在廣東自主創業有1萬元一次性資助，需要場地的可申請入駐政府部門各類創業孵化基地，享受最長3年免租期。來深圳求職的應屆畢業生，可申請最長居住15天的免費房源。

廣東省委書記黃坤明在全國“兩會”上表示，廣東今年推出“百萬英才匯南粵行動計劃”，努力吸納100萬高校畢業生在廣東、到廣東就業創業。

近日，廣東舉行“百萬英才匯南粵”春季大型綜合招聘會，超千家用人單位提供超5萬個崗位，吸引來自境內外1000多所高校近12萬名學生報名參加。
