In Shiguan Town, Baishui County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, an ancient temple carrying the roots of Chinese civilization - Cangjie Temple stands quietly. There are 48 thousand-year-old cypress trees in the temple that are lush and green, and the largest and oldest cypress tree is the Cangjie hand-planted cypress.

　　經五千多年歲月洗禮，倉頡手植柏至今依然枝繁葉茂、四季常青。故宮博物院原院長鄭欣淼曾在其作品《倉頡廟記》中寫道：“樹裂如劈，枝指似戟，歲月滄桑，文明歷程，盡在其中。”

　　4月3日，“樹載千秋 同根同祖”——乙巳年全國網路媒體探尋華夏根脈主題採訪活動在這裡啟動，來自國內外50余家媒體的記者齊聚倉頡手植柏下，觸摸歷史、丈量文化、回望根脈。

　　倉頡手植柏是國家公佈的5棵有著五千年樹齡的古樹名木之一，被專家譽為“文明之根”。據介紹，倉頡生卒於白水，是漢字的創造者。“白水倉頡廟是全國為紀念文祖倉頡所設場所中唯一的國保單位，也是全國唯一集廟、墓、碑、書、柏於一體的文祖殿堂。”倉頡傳說省級代表性傳承人王孝文說。

The reporter learned that Weinan City has continuously strengthened the protection of the ancient cypress group of Cangjie Temple, issued the "Regulations on the Protection of Cangjie Tombs and Temples in Weinan City", and compiled the "one tree and one policy" protection plan for Cangjie hand planting cypress. In order to accurately protect ancient and famous trees, Baishui County has installed electronic facilities in Cangjie Temple to monitor the growth of ancient cypress in real time. "Ancient and famous trees are inseparable from precise and meticulous management." Zhao Zhong, a professor at Northwest A&F University who participated in the Cangjie hand-planted cypress protection and breeding project, said.

The thousand-year-old cypress is still vigorous, and a generation of historians has a good reputation. Every year in the valley rain, everyone gathers in the Cangjie Temple to worship collectively and thank the sages of the ages. Baishui County worships Cangjie with the ritual of bells and drums and the ritual of Hanfu, and the sound of reciting the sacrificial text is intertwined with the cypress leaf, arousing the memories of the Chinese at home and abroad to the "word saint". In recent years, Cangjie Temple has become a hot spot for research, where children wear Hanfu, practice Han rituals, and experience engraving printing, so that the strokes of Chinese characters flow at their fingertips. In 2020, the Long March 5B carrier rocket traveled into space with Cangjie hand-planted cypress seeds, sowing the seeds of civilization into the universe, implying the dialogue between tradition and the future.

　　站在2025年的春光中回望，倉頡手植柏的枝葉依然指向蒼穹，根系深紮黃土。它提醒世人，文化根脈的傳承，既需敬畏歷史的厚重，亦需擁抱時代的活力。正如當地民謠所唱：“滔滔洛水源遠流長，倉聖造字播撒文明……”五千年的蒼勁，仍在續寫一個民族對文化的永恆守望。
