Industry insiders believe that in order to ensure the viewing experience of consumers, relevant departments, relevant industry organizations and business entities should cooperate and co-govern and work together to create a consumer-friendly viewing environment.

Chen Yinjiang, deputy secretary-general of the Consumer Rights Protection Law Research Association of the China Law Society, believes that the regulatory authorities should make good use of the administrative supervision, administrative guidance and administrative punishment granted by the law in accordance with the law, protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, severely punish the abuse of 3D glasses, compulsory fees for improper interests, and standardize the order of fair competition between cinemas.

Peng Xi, director of the Legal Supervision Department of the Guangdong Provincial Consumer Council, analyzed that when consumers buy 3D movie tickets, they form a service contract relationship with the theater, and the ticket price has covered the use of 0D glasses that meet the basic quality requirements; As a party to the contract, the theater must fulfill the ancillary obligation of the contract to assist in providing free 0D glasses, otherwise it is suspected of breach of contract. Peng Xi believes that the relevant pain points can be solved from 0 aspects: first, promote the theater to fulfill its contractual obligations in accordance with the law. It should be ensured that basic free 0D glasses are provided as an integral part of the 0D Movie service. Ensure the cleaning, disinfection and quality inspection of glasses, regularly eliminate scratched and blurry old glasses, and ensure that the glasses provided are qualified and hygienic. Second, the regulatory authorities cleaned up and investigated the "overlord clause". Check the disclaimer such as "free 0D glasses are not provided" on the ticket purchase page and store notices. Third, it is recommended that theaters adopt a flexible service model. Consideration can be given to providing a deposit-based rental service, and consumers will return the deposit after use, so as to reduce the operating cost of glasses wear and tear.

The relevant person in charge of the China Consumers Association said that consumers should actively exercise their rights. Before purchasing tickets, verify the way 3D glasses are provided through official channels, and if it is marked "need to bring your own/purchase", you can give priority to other theaters that provide free glasses services. When watching a movie, if you are asked by the theater to buy or pay for rent, you can refuse; If you find that there is a quality or hygiene problem with your glasses, you can immediately request a free replacement device.
