中國救援隊於30日17時抵達曼德勒市後，立即派出前突力量赴人員埋壓地區實地踏勘開展工作，有序實施救援。31日0時40分，中國救援隊在長城飯店作業場地搜救出一名成年女性被埋壓人員，這是中國救援隊救出的第一名倖存者；5時37分許、6時20分許、7時15分許，中國救援隊、中國公羊救援隊在天空公寓作業場地，通過切割、破拆、移除、繩索轉運等救援技術，先後救出1名被困女童和包括1名孕婦在內的2名被困女性。目前，獲救人員已經送醫治療。
