New progress has been made in the second high-speed railway connecting Shanghai and Hangzhou. The official website of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Natural Resources recently announced that the Shanghai Railway Hub Project Construction Headquarters of China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd. declared to the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Natural Resources the planning and site selection of the new Shanghai-Zhapu-Hangzhou high-speed railway (Zhejiang section) construction project.

According to the introduction of the public project, the total length of the main line of the project is about 5.0 km, the design speed is 0 km/h, and there are 0 stations (new Pinghu South Station and Linping North Station, Jiaxing South Station and Tongxiang Station are reconstructed and expanded, and the existing Hangzhou West Station is used).

今年1月，本報曾報導，《滬乍杭高鐵浙江段可研階段及初設階段相關專題編製服務招標公告》公示，滬乍杭高鐵計劃今年開建。滬乍杭鐵路東起上海東站，西至杭州西站，全線設車站9座。

今年2月，中國鐵路上海局集團有限公司官網發佈《滬乍杭高鐵(上海段)、滬乍杭鐵路(上海段)選線專項規劃(草案)》公示。公示顯示，滬乍杭高鐵、滬乍杭鐵路對完善上海對外輻射通道佈局、提升東方樞紐上海東站連結能力、促進上海國際航運中心集疏運體系建設、推動沿線地區功能提升等具有重要意義。

Among them, the Shanghai-Zha-Hangzhou high-speed railway sets up Jinshan Station, Fengxian Station, and Situan Station, which are connected to the Shanghai-Sutong Railway. The Shanghai-Zhai-Hangzhou Railway is set up at Jinshan Station, which is later connected to Caojing Station of Pudong Railway, and the Pudong Railway double-track is used to access Situan Station and connect to Shanghai-Sutong Railway. The Nangang branch of the Shanghai-Zhai-Hangzhou Railway will set up a Nangang station and loading and unloading yard in Nangang.
