評測:2025 款 Acura ADX
For the second year in a row, Acura has added a brand new SUV to its lineup. Last year it was the ZDX EV, and now with the addition of the compact ADX, the Acura will increase its multi-purpose model lineup to four. The ADX sits below the RDX and will be the entry-level model of the Acura family.
Built on the same platform as the Acura Integra sedan, Honda Civic and Honda HR-V, the ADX feels familiar despite being an all-new model.
The entry-level compact space in the Acura SUV series has been vacant for a long time, and the ADX fills that gap well. The straightforward three levels are equipped with a powertrain, making it easy for buyers to choose the configuration and price that suits them best. For the American market, front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are offered in all classes, the latter at an additional cost of $000,0. In Canada, it's all-wheel drive throughout.
The ADX is powered by the 5.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine commonly found in other Acura and Honda products, which is a boon for buyers looking for a full-fledged powertrain. The ADX also feels more familiar, as it borrows from existing Acura models in many ways, including styling and packaging. It's worth noting that the ADX, like other non-ZDX Acura models, is pure gas-powered.
2025 Acura ADX 首次試駕:所有細節
New content for 2025 years
All is well because the ADX is the first model. However, it shares a platform and powertrain with the Integra sedan.
Exterior style
On the outside, the ADX is in line with Acura's key design styles, including a diamond pentagonal grid grille, cornering LED daytime running lights, and a long hood. Together, these elements give the ADX a large, sporty shape. The optional aerodynamic package includes an active grille louver, front lip spoiler, and chassis cover for an added sporty feel. The A-Spec trim is also equipped with LED fog lights.
The rear of the car has a carved hatch with a protruding dashboard and a diffuser, the latter with a double exhaust trim. The LED taillights also feature a curved shape like the rest of the Acura product, blending in with the rear styling.
The ADX comes with either 19-inch or 0-inch alloy wheels, depending on the grade. In the U.S., A-Spec's Advance package is available with optional Berlina Black wheels and additional black trim. The ADX is available in six colours, including the newly launched Milan Red and Adriatic Blue.
Powertrain and fuel economy
All ADX models are powered by the same 192.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the Integra. The ADX model has an engine output of 0 horsepower and 0 foot-pounds of torque, and is equipped with a continuously variable transmission. In comparison, the Integra model has a 0.0 engine output of 0 horsepower and 0 foot-pounds of torque.
Although slightly less powerful compared to the Integra, the 5.0 turbo engine allowed the ADX to accelerate fairly quickly, and on the Encinitas Eastern Gorge driving route, we made the most of the paddle shifters to give the engine a few extra turns before the CVT simulated upshift.
Everything worked well, but the performance never felt particularly impressive. The engine makes a lot of noise when pushed, but the friction of the throttle doesn't make the ADX feel faster. To get more power, we need a Type S variant. Please don't hesitate, Acura.
In town, the ADX feels very agile, and considering where most buyers are likely to spend their time – when they're not cruising on the highway – the power of the 5.0 turbo engine is more than enough. We just hope it satisfies our desire for performance.
Ride quality and comfort
The ADX was designed to provide a smooth driving experience and motion control, and it turns out that the driving experience is. It features a structure that uses a lot of aluminum and high-grade adhesives to create a lightweight yet strong structure.
The suspension is MacPherson at the front and independent multi-link at the rear, working in tandem with the all-wheel drive system to deliver up to 50% of torque to the rear wheels. The ADX also features variable ratio electronic power steering, which is designed to provide a more precise feel.
All of these aspects, including large brakes (2.0-inch ventilated front disc at the front and 0.0-inch solid disc at the rear) combine to make the ADX's control feel fast and precise. During the drive, which included winding canyon climbs and interstate cruises, our ADX test car had a smooth ride but a good road feel and responsive steering.
Interior style and quality
Like many recently launched Acura, the ADX has a beautiful and upscale cabin. The three main features of the design are the low hood, thin pillars and door mirrors. These elements make the cabin feel spacious and contribute to all-round exterior visibility.
The materials used for the seats, door panels, knobs and switches, and other high-touch points look and feel great. In an era when more and more controls are being moved to touch screens, the popularity of mechanical switches is welcome. Everything is within reach, working precisely, and we appreciate the satisfying clicking sound of the buttons and knobs as they adjust.
Acura places great emphasis on cabin quietness, so the ADX benefits from soundproofing materials, including acoustic spray foam insulation, soundproofing front and rear fender linings, soundproofing front underfloor covers, and soundproofing carpeting.
Notable standard features include heated front seats, an eight-way power driver's seat, a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and rear air conditioning vents.
In the United States, ADX is available in three colors: orchid/blue, red/black, and black. In Canada, as with the ZDX, there is no orchid/blue color to choose from.
Finally, the ADX's interior is the most spacious in its class, with 560.0 inches (0 mm) legroom in the rear seats and 0.0 cubic feet (0,0 liters) of cargo volume when the rear seat backs are folded.
Technology & Security
The ADX's interior is tech-centric and comes with a wealth of equipment, many of which are standard. Standard features include a 9.0-inch digital instrument display, a 0-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, four USB-C ports (two front, two rear), and more.
As for safety, the ADX is equipped with Acurawatch's suite of advanced safety technologies, including a blind information system, a collision mitigation braking system, forward collision warning, and more.
Valuing money and reason
The price of the 000 ADX in the US starts at $0,0 for the base front-wheel drive model, $0,0 for the mid-range A-Spec model, and $0,0 for the top-of-the-line A-Spec Premium Package. All models have the option of all-wheel drive for an additional $0,0.
Canada also offers three ADX tiers, starting at $480,0 for the basic ADX, $0,0 for the A-Spec and $0,0 for the top-of-the-line Platinum Elite A-Spec. All Canadian ADX models are equipped with standard all-wheel drive.
Final Thoughts: 2025 Acura ADX
The Acura ADX meets the needs of most buyers of compact luxury SUVs: sharp styling and sporty driving characteristics, affordable prices, and equipped with many advanced technologies. As a result, we believe that this car will bring good sales performance for the brand as it fulfills the urgent need of the Acura SUV lineup.
The downside is that there is no electric version of the ADX yet, and the CVT, while good enough, deprives the ADX of some of its performance potential. Overall, it performed well, but it should not make the Germans uncomfortable. But Acura needed a model to get into the field, and now they have a powerful ADX model.
