Nowadays, more and more families are inclined to pursue a minimalist lifestyle.
In most people's minds, minimalist living seems to have nothing to do with consumption.
At first, I held the same opinion, but when I really experienced minimalist life, I realized that this understanding was not accurate.
In fact, true minimalism means simplifying everyday life, discarding bad habits, and lowering material pursuits.
Since I started practicing minimalist living, I've found that many of the things in my life aren't necessary.
By sticking to the principle of 15 don't buy, I managed to accumulate enough for a down payment in two years.
01. Reduce the purchase of cosmetics
At the moment, I rarely buy a lot of makeup, and I just need to apply a no-makeup cream or lipstick on my daily outing. In fact, there is no need to buy too many cosmetics, it is enough to have the basics.
02. No longer buy clothes at will
I used to be very fond of shopping, but now I only buy new clothes when the seasons change, and I pay more attention to the fabrics and styles of my clothes, so as not to blindly follow influencer styles.
03. Stop buying milk tea
In the past, I had to order milk tea when I went out, but now I carry a thermos cup with flower tea in it.
04、
At present, I mainly watch TV series through the app, either waiting for updates, or borrowing a member account from a friend, and never recharging by myself.
05. No more snacks
It's been a long time since we bought snacks, and in fact, not eating snacks is good for our health!
06. Stop ordering takeout
以前每天訂外賣,花費大約七八十元,但自從開始自己做飯以後,每日的飲食費用僅需20元左右。
07. No more taxis
In order to save money, it is best to choose the subway or bus for travel, and if the distance is close, you can choose to walk, and try to avoid taking a taxi.
08. No more nail art
A basic manicure costs a few tens of yuan, while a complex style costs a few hundred yuan. I chose to buy a wearable manicure online, and I can use it multiple times for twenty or thirty yuan, and the effect is similar to that of a professional manicure.
09. No longer dye and perm your hair
It costs three to four hundred dollars for each hair dye or perm, and as I get older, I find that dyeing and perming become less attractive to me and I prefer to keep my hair in its natural state.
10. No more extra cups
Many people have a large number of cups at home, each with a special cup for drinking water, milk, etc.
But in reality, one or two commonly used cups are enough, and there is no need to buy too much.
11. No longer rent power banks
When we go out, we usually rent a power bank outside, but this may cost three or four yuan per hour, which is not cost-effective.
You can bring your own power bank and put it in your bag when you go out, so you don't need to rent a power bank.
12. No more buying uncomfortable shoes
If the shoes don't fit, you may feel uncomfortable or even hurt when wearing them.
Therefore, when choosing shoes, you should pay attention to comfort and avoid choosing shoes that are uncomfortable to wear just because of style and appearance.
13. No more buying cheap jewelry
I used to buy cheap jewelry for more than a dozen yuan online.
However, these ornaments tend to fade after a few uses, making them particularly inexpensive. As a result, as I got older, I almost stopped buying such cheap jewelry.
14. No more shopping for making up orders
Nowadays, various apps will launch full discount activities during the holidays, but don't blindly shop for the sake of making up the bill.
If you buy unnecessary items just to make up for it, it's easy to overspend and take home useless things.
15. No more frequent eating out
The final change is to eat out less often.
Cooking your own meals for a day at home can cost only a few tens of yuan, while dining out often costs hundreds of yuan.
自從實踐極簡生活以來,我堅持這15個不購買的原則,沒想到兩年內就攢夠了房子的首付。如果你也想存錢,不妨嘗試一下。
