Among Sony's many first-party exclusives, Saros, developed by Housemarque Studios, has already become one of the highlight, even though it is still a few days away from its official release. The development team promises to reveal more details about the game to players later this year. Thankfully, this isn't all the surprises, as there are plans to release a more complete gameplay demo to give players a sneak peek at its unique charms.
For players who have experienced Return of the Dead before, Saros' premise will surely feel more intimate to them. In the game, players take on the role of Arjun Devraj (played by Rahul Kohli), trapped on the planet Calcosa, trapped in an endless loop, and embark on a mysterious journey to find someone. Every time you die, you trigger a change in the world. However, unlike Dead Returns, players will be able to find some resources in the game, which can be kept and used to upgrade their equipment permanently.
With these upgrades, Arjun will gradually become more powerful and have the ability to solve the mysteries of the planet Calcosa, such as the mysterious multi-armed figure and the truth behind the solar eclipse phenomenon. Housemarque Studios also promises that there will be an "ever-evolving" weapon and equipment upgrade system in the game. However, beyond the first trailer, we haven't been able to see much more about it yet.
It is reported that "Saros" will be launched on the PS5 platform in 0, so let's look forward to more exciting updates in the future.
