男子曲某於1984年出生，大學文化，是一名網約車司機。2024年1月，曲某與某科技（天津）有限公司簽訂《汽車租賃合同》，並駕駛從該公司租賃的一輛白色奔騰牌小型轎車從事網約車營運活動。

判決書顯示，2024年4月至6月，曲某駕駛租賃的車輛，在天津市南開區等地道路行駛過程中，趁前方車輛變道之際，故意碰撞刮擦前方車輛，製造前方車輛負全責的交通事故，並隱瞞故意製造交通事故真相，騙取事故相對方個人或者投保的保險公司的賠付錢款。其兩個月內共作案11起，騙取1.4萬余元。

紅星新聞記者梳理髮現，在曲某作案的11起交通事故中，交警部門均認定對方司機全責，而曲某因此獲得司機個人或保險公司200元至2000元不等的賠付。2024年7月19日，曲某被警方抓獲。公訴機關指控曲某犯詐騙罪並追究其刑事責任。
