CCTV reporter Li Jingjing: This is the core tourist area of the old town of Lijiang, and the four big characters of "Tianyu Liufang" on the archway behind me are particularly eye-catching, and its implication is that knowledge is like rain to nourish the soul and let the flower of civilization bloom. What's more interesting is that the homonym of these four words in Naxi language is "go to study", which is an ancient admonition shared by the Han and Naxi people, which is enough to reflect the great importance that the local people attach to culture and education."Heavenly rain flows" is from the Ming Dynasty Lijiang Mu's toast to persuade the ancient teaching. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the old town of Lijiang began to build schools, actively promoted the culture of the Central Plains, and embraced the cultures of other ethnic groups, so that the local people of all ethnic groups could widely accept cultural education. "Heavenly Rain" has also become a vivid footnote to the long history of the old town of Lijiang and the continuous singing.
Crossing the wooden archway of "Tianyu Liufang", you came to the mansion of Mu's Tusi in the Ming Dynasty - Mufu, which is now the Lijiang Old Town Museum. Located on the central axis of Mufu, the Wanjuan Building is the place where Mu's Tusi reads and collects books, its architectural shape absorbs the essence of the Confucian Temple in Shandong and the Kuixing Tower in Beijing, and the roof of the building resembles an octagonal hat worn by scholars in the Ming Dynasty, which is full of strong bookish atmosphere; Walking in, the collection of books of "tens of thousands of rare books of the Song and Ming dynasties in the building" is even more shocking, you can not only take a close look at the authentic "treasures" such as the Dongba Sutra and the Tripitaka, but also carefully watch a large number of precious books on ancient Han culture, which shows the recognition and respect of Mu's Tusi for the Central Plains culture.
"The rain is fragrant" has precipitated a profound cultural heritage in the long years. The century-old mansion "Hengyu Gong" and its guardian, Li Junxing, known as Uncle Ah Liu, are also telling tourists the story of Lijiang people's poetry and book heirlooms.
Nowadays, there is a "Confucian" plaque handed down by Uncle Liu's grandfather in the old house, the exquisite wood carving of the phoenix title book is preserved on the beam, and the "Ya" word pane on the attic Xiaoxuan window is clearly visible, this piece of "heirloom" full of warmth seems to be silently reminding future generations to "go to reading".
"The rain is fragrant", the comprehension of the realm of reading in ancient times, through time, infiltrated and nourished the people of later generations. Nowadays, the old town of Lijiang is full of bookstores and academies of different sizes and styles, which carry the spirit of hard work and studious work of the predecessors, and also carry the expectations of the descendants for the inheritance and development of culture.
Choosing a bookstore to read quietly and slow down the pace of travel has also become another way for many tourists to read Lijiang and relax.
