4月13日，內蒙古通遼市舉行第40屆青少年科技創新大賽。比賽聚焦“勇擔時代使命，助力高水準科技自立自強”主題，設置青少年科技創新成果競賽(分中學組、小學組)、科技輔導員科教創新成果競賽、青少年科技實踐活動比賽、科學影像作品展評、少年兒童科學幻想繪畫比賽五大板塊，涵蓋發明創造、科學探究、藝術想像等多元領域，全面展現青少年“腦洞大開”的科創活力。來自通遼市各校的千余名師生帶著500余項作品同場競技，經過前期選拔，120幅優秀科幻畫、52個科技創新專案亮相現場答辯環節，接受專家“考官”的專業評審。

At the event site, Li Haoxuan, a contestant in the primary school group, held the model of "Underground Garage Waterproof Smoke Automatic Alarm System" for a demonstration: "When the rainwater floods into the underground garage, the water level sensor triggers an alarm, the light and sound effects are started synchronously, the pumping system begins to drain, and the flood prevention door automatically rises to block the backflow. Li Haoxuan said that he has a strong interest in scientific and technological innovation, and this time he participated in the competition with works combined with life observation, hoping to achieve good results, but also enjoying the exploration process of transforming creativity into physical objects.

In recent years, Tongliao City has attached great importance to youth science and technology education, and has built a collaborative education system of "on-campus education + off-campus practice" through activities such as "popular science research", "popular science caravan" and "mobile science and technology museum", so as to promote the normalization and popularization of scientific and technological innovation education. The successful holding of this competition not only provides a stage for young people to show their talents, but also lays a solid foundation for scientific and technological reserve talents to achieve scientific and technological "breakthroughs" and cultivate new quality productivity.
