Recently, the 200-year Overseas Chinese School Principals Roundtable Forum and the 4th European Chinese Education Academic Symposium were held. Nearly 0 Chinese education experts and scholars, principals and educators from Chinese schools at home and abroad attended the meeting, focusing on the theme of "The Development Path of Chinese Education in the Context of Artificial Intelligence", and jointly discussed the innovative path and practical strategies of artificial intelligence technology to empower the development of Chinese education.

"Wenzhou University has a history of 92 years, and continues to give full play to the development advantages of 'overseas Chinese education, overseas Chinese research, and overseas Chinese culture' to promote the construction of overseas Chinese characteristics. At a time when artificial intelligence technology is profoundly reshaping the education ecosystem, it is of great significance to discuss topics such as AI-enabled innovation in Chinese education. It is necessary to explore the integration path of intelligent teaching methods and traditional cultural inheritance, and strive to solve the practical problems in the process of digital transformation of education. At the meeting, the Evaluation Center for the Construction and Development of Overseas Chinese Schools of Wenzhou University was established. Focusing on the Guidelines for the Optimization and Improvement of the Construction of Overseas Chinese Schools, Yu Li, Dean of Huaqiao College of Wenzhou University, explained in detail the framework of the "Four Modernizations" with "standardization, regularization, specialization, and informatization" as the core of overseas Chinese schools, and analyzed the all-round evaluation plan for the teaching management, teacher training, and international student development of global Chinese schools. She believes that Wenzhou University continues to promote the high-quality development of overseas Chinese education in the process of promoting Chinese education. The school will rely on existing platforms such as the European Center for the Professional Development of Chinese Teachers to deepen the theoretical research on Chinese education. It is planned to create a series of high-quality Chinese education courses with exemplary effects, and develop a number of high-quality teaching materials that are in line with the actual teaching practice of overseas teaching. At the same time, we will build an examination center for the "International Chinese Teacher Certificate" for overseas Chinese teachers, and further improve the teacher certification system for overseas Chinese education. In terms of brand building, the school will continue the influence of the past academic brand, continue to hold the 5th "I and Chinese Education" essay competition, and regularly hold international seminars on Chinese education.

At the meeting, 18 principals of Chinese schools and Chinese education research scholars from home and abroad made speeches. Zheng Ping, Principal of Aihua School in Prague, Czech Republic, shared the methods of obtaining Chinese education and teaching resources, as well as the changes in teaching plans and teaching methods in the context of artificial intelligence. Yan Ping, principal of the Kyushu Chinese School in Germany, believes that artificial intelligence is a powerful assistant for overseas Chinese education and can play an important role as a "cultural intermediary". Jiang Zhonghua, Principal of the Chinese Language School in Rome, Italy, analyzed the path of Chinese education and teaching reform in Europe under the background of artificial intelligence from the perspective of teaching and management practice. Liu Yun, Executive Principal of the Overseas Chinese Chinese School in Madrid and President of the Spanish Federation of Chinese Schools, combined with teaching practice, elaborated on the academic evaluation methods of Chinese school students in the context of artificial intelligence.

The event was hosted by Wenzhou University and co-organized by the National Language Promotion Base (Wenzhou University), Overseas Chinese College of Wenzhou University, Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Network College and the European Institute of Chinese Education of Wenzhou University.
