Su Shi's life was extremely ups and downs, like a flying dragon in the sky when it started, and like a dragon losing water when it fell.
When he was young, he was the first in the middle of the world, and everyone was in the limelight.
When he first entered the career, he cherished the ambition of clarifying the world and was favored by Renzong.
However, such a smooth start to life can't withstand the overnight tricks of fate.
He was first ostracized by the "reformists" because of his disagreement with Wang Anshi's political views, and then he was demoted because of the "Wutai Poetry Prison".
及至哲宗元祐年間才終於峰迴路轉， “三入承明，四至九卿”。
But he didn't want to, Zhezong was instigated by Zhang Dun after he became in power, and he was belittled again and again.
細數蘇軾這四十載的宦海沉浮，竟有三十多年奔襲於流放之路。
若於常人，面對如此顛沛，怕是早就一蹶不振。
但生性豁達的蘇轼，卻始終能不受困於起落，不束縛於境遇。
被貶黃州，他闢東坡，建雪堂，游赤壁。 手把禾鋤，於墾荒種地間，自得妙趣。

蘇轼沉吟道：小舟從此逝，江海寄餘生。
In the torrent of fate, we are like a flat boat, rising and falling with the waves:

Not to mention that people's hearts are unpredictable, the world is murderous, one moment you are radiant, and the next second you may fall to the altar.
The great waves of life hit one after another, and you will be unwilling and aggrieved, but the reality is often that the more stubborn you resist, the more you will be constrained by fate.
唯有把自己活成一彎活水，不因起而流於逸樂，也不因落而萬念俱灰。
Accept the impermanence of fate and look down on the ups and downs.
In this way, it can flow softly and endlessly.

Su Shi is a standard Confucian scholar, he is willing to sing and cry with everyone, and will not live alone in loneliness.
古往今來，落魄文人數不勝數，隱居山林不問世事者有之，在悲春傷秋中自暴自棄者更多。
In contrast, Su Shi can "do good deeds and don't ask about the future", which is particularly rare.
在徐州做知州時，遇黃河泛濫，頃刻間徐州成了一座死城。
Su Shi was so anxious that he built a straw hut on the city wall, and he didn't return home, rushing to repair the embankment day and night.
他向朝廷進書，聲淚俱下地乞求禁軍救援。
The rescuers came, looked at Su Shi who was covered in mud, and sighed: "A civil official can be like this"!
When he was demoted to Michigan, he happened to hear that there were many abandoned babies in the local area, so he took the lead in donating money to build a nursery.
Later, when Dingzhou took office, he learned that bandits were rampant, so he formed a militia group to protect the people.
Later, when he was exiled in Hainan, he saw that education had not been opened, and even though he was seriously ill, he still insisted on running the school.
In Huizhou, he built a water supply system for the people;
In Huangzhou, he founded the first orphanage of the Song Dynasty;
In Hangzhou, he dredged the West Lake, which gave rise to the grand scene of "Spring Dawn at Su Causeway......
Even if he was depressed and mired in mud all his life, he always had a responsibility for himself and others.
As Teacher Fan Deng said: "No matter where the situation throws you, you must unfold it on the spot and do what you can." ”
Everyone has unsatisfactory times, maybe it is a bottleneck in their career, maybe it is an emotional bump, or it may be a harm of fate.
If you keep an eye on failure, you will only waste your life in resentment.
Many times the more you cling to what you get, the more you lose.
On the contrary, when you do things without distractions and help others as much as you can, you will usher in new opportunities and opportunities.
The success or failure of life is not on the line, and it is better to bow down to the game than to give up on yourself.
What we can do is to let go of gains and losses, focus on what is in front of us, what is at hand, and wait for the opportunity.

When he was a fledgling, Su Shi was praised by many writers.
Ouyang Xiu shouted: "The old man should avoid the road and let him out of the land." ”
張方平視其為“天上麒麟”，引為莫逆之交。
連王安石都由衷地說：“不知更幾百年，方有如此人物。 ”
風雨順遂時，蘇轼被尊為千年難得之人才；可一朝落難，卻又頻遭小人構陷誣衊。
烏台詩獄中，沈括斷章取義，告他譏訕朝政、謗訕君上；宰相王珪用一首舊詩就定他謀逆；謝景溫更是誣告他販賣私鹽。
一時間，蘇轼被群起而攻之。
御史台的宵小之徒，貶低其出身，稱他是“起於草野垢賤之餘”；
The crowd who were not convinced of his talent slandered him for "having no academic beginnings and indiscriminately gaining fame".
In the face of these rumors, what did Su Shi do?
In 1097 A.D., he and his younger brother met on the way to degrade and sat on the side of the road eating noodles.
The noodles taste poor, and Su Zhe is really hard to swallow. But Su Shi finished the noodles heartily: the noodles are unpalatable, why bother chewing them?
The noodles were unpalatable, so they hurriedly ate them; It's hard to hear, just don't listen to it.
In Su Shi's view, other people's words are like the wind of the ear, and there is no need to pay attention to it, let alone mind.
When he was admired, he was not complacent; When you are slandered, you will not be discouraged.
I agree with the saying: If you are a tree, other people's words are gusts of wind.
You study hard, some people say that you are dead study; You work hard to make money, and some people say that you are eager for quick success;
You take care of your family, some people say that you are not motivated; You are self-disciplined, and some people say that you have ulterior motives......
If you care, any word will shake you violently.
But as long as you don't go up to your heart, no matter how strong the wind is, it won't hurt you in the slightest.
余秋雨曾被人抨擊“沽名釣譽”，他卻不以為然：馬行千里，不洗泥沙。
How can a horse galloping forward care about the mud and sand on its body?
人生榮辱不常定，唯有南山依舊青。
Only by stabilizing one's own heart can one sail through the thousands of rapids of life like a flat boat.

他開墾東坡時，有天走至半路天降大雨。 眾人東奔西竄，狼狽躲雨。
But he wandered leisurely, reciting poetry all the way:
Don't listen to the sound of the forest beating the leaves, why not groan and walk slowly.
Bamboo cane and mango shoes are easy to beat horses, who is afraid?
A cloud of smoke and rain is Ren Pingsheng.
The steep spring breeze blows the wine and wakes up, slightly cold, and the mountain is obliquely shining but welcomes.
回首向來蕭瑟處，歸去，也無風雨也無晴。
This song "Fixing the Storm" aptly describes Su Shi's life.
From the secular definition, he is not a successful person, but in the evaluation system constructed by time and people's hearts, Su Shi finally remained like the world and achieved immortality.
In "The Peony Pavilion", it is written: The wind is uncertain, and people are impermanent.
今日之歡喜，明日之憂愁；今日之推崇，明日之戕害。
People can only look up to themselves from a low place, and see others from a high place.
Only by being cautious about the controllable things and optimistic about the uncontrollable things can you safely walk through the highs and lows of life.
