At The Triple-i Initiative, the FakeFish team unveiled a new title, Frostrail, an open-world survival FPS game that is expected to be released in 2026 years. Players will struggle to survive in the last steam train fortress in the frosty apocalypse.
The game is set in the ruins of an empire frozen by a pact between the Emperor and the Void Demons. As a survivor, you'll have to keep the Steam Train equipped with the Engine of Eden in order, weaving from track to track in search of supplies. Not only do you have to fight the biting cold, but you also have to dodge the hunt of the Void Ghouls.
As the difficulty of survival increases, players will need to continuously strengthen their equipment: strengthen the armor of the carriage, build weapon stations, and upgrade the engine power. By expanding the carriages, adding crafting tables and warehouses, the train will be transformed into a mobile fortress against the cold and monsters. Every time you get out of the car to search for supplies, it's a matter of life and death, and blizzards can seriously affect mobility, and supplies are often in the most dangerous places. The game supports both single-player and co-op modes.
