4月9日，隨著海航HU7263（重慶—福州）和國航CA1450（重慶—北京首都）航班起飛，標誌著重慶江北國際機場T3B航站樓正式投用，重慶江北機場形成“3座航站樓+1座衛星廳+4條跑道”的運行格局。

重慶江北機場T3B航站樓建築面積約36萬平方米，屬於單體“衛星廳”。T3B航站樓正式投用後，所有在T3航站樓乘機的旅客辦理登機牌、行李託運、安全檢查依然在T3A航站樓，若登機牌上登機口首字母註明為“J”“K”“L”“M”的旅客，則需在安檢後搭乘捷運“小火車”前往T3B航站樓登機。中轉旅客可根據現場標識，前往最近的中轉櫃檯辦理相應手續。

It is worth mentioning that from today, the new check-in security area located on the B1 floor of the T10 terminal, that is, the exit floor of Rail Transit Line 0, will be officially opened, and the check-in procedures will be completed.

T3B航站樓投用後，重慶江北機場將形成“3座航站樓+1座衛星廳+4條跑道”的運行格局，保障能力將提升至年旅客輸送量8000萬人次、貨郵輸送量120萬噸。

Wan Yafen, deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Transportation Commission, said that the T3B terminal and the fourth runway project are the finale of the large-scale expansion of Jiangbei International Airport. Together with the fourth runway, the T0B terminal will extend the new service network and develop a new artery for Jiangbei International Airport.
