Artificial intelligence is an important driving force for a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, and will have a profound impact on global economic and social development and the progress of human civilization. The Office of the Central Committee and the Office of the State Council recently issued the "Special Action Plan for Boosting Consumption", which clearly proposes to carry out the "artificial intelligence +" action, promote "artificial intelligence + consumption", accelerate the development and application promotion of new technologies and new products such as autonomous driving, smart wearables, ultra-high-definition video, brain-computer interfaces, robots, and additive manufacturing, and open up a new track for high-growth consumption. In recent years, China has attached great importance to the development of the artificial intelligence industry, and has issued a series of supporting policies to promote the continuous progress of artificial intelligence technology, and the basic capabilities such as algorithms, computing power, and data have been significantly improved, laying a solid foundation for the application of artificial intelligence in the consumer field.
Today, consumer demand for intelligent, personalized products and services continues to grow, demonstrating huge market potential. "Artificial intelligence + consumption" has penetrated into all aspects of daily life, and the scenarios have been implemented in a variety of ways, which not only enriches consumption choices, but also improves consumption quality, and promotes the optimization and upgrading of consumption structure. For example, e-commerce platforms use algorithms to provide personalized recommendations to help consumers quickly find their favorite products. Enterprises can also use big data analysis to predict sales, effectively reduce inventory risks, and better optimize product design and service processes to quickly respond to and meet new consumer needs. In addition, artificial intelligence is helping to bridge the digital divide, and features such as elder mode and voice shopping have enabled the silver-haired group to enjoy the convenience of digital consumption. For example, in the elderly group, smart speakers are favored, this kind of product is simple, watching the news, making calls and other functions are readily available, so that the elderly are no longer troubled by the small font size of the mobile phone, and the trouble.
As a representative of emerging digital technologies, artificial intelligence has shown broad development prospects in various fields such as smart equipment, smart distribution, and smart production, and continues to give birth to new consumption hotspots. In order to fully release the role of artificial intelligence in driving consumption hotspots, it is urgent to focus on improving the level of data security, unifying the technical standards of smart products, promoting the research and development of key core technologies, accelerating the connection between smart products and scenario needs, accelerating the exploration of AI model applications and deployments, and comprehensively optimizing the R&D, production, management and sales models of the manufacturing industry.
For example, the wide application of intelligent equipment in various consumption scenarios has greatly improved the efficiency of goods circulation and revolutionized the traditional logistics service experience. The intelligent warehousing system realizes the rapid sorting and storage of goods through intelligent robots, driverless cars and other automated equipment. In the logistics and distribution process, artificial intelligence technology ensures the seamless connection of goods between different modes of transportation by optimizing transportation routes, monitoring the status of vehicles and goods in real time, and refining the management of multimodal transportation, which significantly improves the speed and accuracy of distribution.
In the future, we expect AI technology to leverage more changes, continuously innovate application scenarios, improve user experience, and unleash more consumption potential. On the one hand, we will continue to invest in R&D resources to promote the further development of artificial intelligence technology, such as improving the accuracy and efficiency of speech recognition, image recognition, natural language processing and other technologies, and providing smarter and more convenient products and services. On the other hand, we will dig deeper into the various needs of the consumer field and apply artificial intelligence technology to more new consumption scenarios, such as smart home, smart travel, smart medical care, smart education, etc., to create more innovative consumption patterns and formats. At the same time, through virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and other technologies, it provides consumers with immersive shopping, entertainment, tourism and other experiences, and enhances the interaction between consumers and products or services. For example, with "AI Fitting", users only need to upload a frontal photo to try on various types of clothing online and intuitively feel the effect on the upper body.
Of course, it is also necessary to pay attention to the safety of the application of technology. For example, e-commerce platforms provide personalized recommendations by collecting user browsing and purchase records, and in the process, data privacy protection should be done in the process, and user data must not be obtained by illegal means without the user's knowledge, or sold to third parties for other commercial purposes. Another example is some "AI resurrection" services, although they can comfort the feelings of the relatives of the deceased, but also trigger a lot of ethical discussions, and the unauthorized use of the deceased's portrait and information for commercial activities may cause secondary harm to the family. These are all issues that have emerged with the development of AI-related industries and need to be improved and discussed. In addition, problems such as poor human-computer interaction and incompatible equipment also need attention.
It is believed that driven by both policy support and market demand, artificial intelligence technology will accelerate the integration into all aspects of consumption, play a greater role in boosting consumption and promoting the transformation of the digital economy, help high-quality economic development, and lead us towards a new era of intelligent consumption.
