Recently, the Information Center of the Municipal Education Bureau held a 2025-year training activity on the digital transformation and artificial intelligence application of primary and secondary education in Dongguan City (Songshan Lake Area) in the school of Songshan Hubei District.

With the theme of "Understanding the Development Process and Trend of Smart Campuses in Primary and Secondary Schools", Li Yushun deeply interpreted the core essence of the national education digitalization strategy, focusing on the innovative effect of artificial intelligence technology in teaching evaluation, classroom innovation and home-school collaboration.

In Li Yushun's view, the iterative development of artificial intelligence and the emergence of large language models have opened the process of innovation in digital technology-enabled education and teaching practice. "It can not only improve teaching efficiency, but also expand the boundaries of teaching and provide students with a more diverse and personalized learning experience."

"The 'coexistence, co-teaching, and co-education' of teachers and artificial intelligence has become an inevitable choice for the transformation of teachers' roles in the digital intelligence era, and the importance of 'human-machine collaboration' has become increasingly prominent in the evidence-based practice of the classroom." Educators should take the initiative to embrace the transformation of AI technology, actively explore and apply digital intelligence technology, and jointly promote the innovation and progress of education and teaching models.

Li Yong introduced in detail the specific practices and successful experiences of the "Smart Classroom Teaching Practice Research Project" and the "Future Teacher Training Project" in Daxing District, Beijing. He said that in the process of promoting the digital transformation of education, Daxing District has successfully built "three new classrooms", with smart classrooms, famous teacher classrooms and dynamic thinking classrooms as the core, comprehensively promoting the construction of teachers and the digital transformation of education, and successfully building a model of artificial intelligence to boost the construction of teachers, which will provide a practical sample for Dongguan to carry out the reform of education and teaching methods and educational evaluation.

Dongguan practices to build "one center and two platforms" and actively promote AI-empowered education

Dongguan continues to expand the depth and breadth of the integration of artificial intelligence and education, and has formed a series of practical achievements from policy coordination, scenario innovation to demonstration and leadership.

Yao Xiangbin, vice principal of Songshan Hubei District School, introduced that the school has clearly implemented the reform of smart education evaluation since its establishment, closely linked knowledge with life reality with the help of AI technology, carried out situational and inquiry-based teaching, and created a personalized learning path for students, so that governance is wise, teaching is accurate, and education has no boundaries.

Cheng Qinglei, deputy director of the Information Center of the Municipal Education Bureau, introduced that Dongguan has built a municipal-level "one center and two platforms" with high standards, built a "base + application + ecology" development system, and gradually formed a benign development ecology of "municipal-level large platform and small school application".

"The intensive smart education development path of 'one center and two platforms' in Dongguan is conducive to creating a new ecology of human-machine collaborative education." Li Yushun said that as the bearing center of smart campus education applications, Dongguan has built an integrated "Internet +" education platform, and built a "comprehensive, efficient and intelligent" smart education comprehensive management platform by integrating and sharing various educational information systems, which meets the diverse needs of smart campus construction.
