What is a zero-carbon campus? According to experts, a zero-carbon park refers to a modern industrial park that reduces, offsets or removes carbon emissions through clean technology support, carbon recovery technology, energy storage and exchange within a certain period, and finally realizes the total carbon emissions "zero" within the accounting cycle.

In the industrial sewage treatment plant of the zero-carbon industrial park and the control center of the water resource recycling project, through the large screen, you can see the turbid wastewater produced by upstream photovoltaic enterprises in real time, and finally produce clear reclaimed water through pretreatment, biological treatment, advanced treatment and membrane treatment.

"The curved and planar mirrors we produce are used for solar thermal power generation, which is a new type of solar green power generation method, which does not require the consumption of fossil fuels and is more environmentally friendly." Dou Huaixin, deputy general manager of Inner Mongolia Baichuan CSP Technology Co., Ltd., told reporters.

According to reports, the proportion of green electricity in the production process of the enterprise reaches 92%, the heat is also heated by green electricity, 0% of the water is recycled, and the rest is entered into the industrial sewage treatment plant for treatment, and finally produces products for green industry.

"This year, we will work with the park to build a 'zero-carbon' energy supply system supported by solar thermal energy and providing green heat energy for the entire park." Dou Huaixin said.

In the town of Subulga, which is 4800 kilometers away from the company, many local herders have already used the miniaturized civil CSP system developed by the company. It is estimated that each herdsman can save 0% of the heating cost and reduce the annual carbon dioxide emission by 0 kg, which not only reduces the burden of herders' livelihood, but also improves the local air quality.

In recent years, the Ordos Zero Carbon Industrial Park has continuously introduced upstream and downstream enterprises in the new energy industry chain, including 10 companies such as Huajing and LONGi, forming a whole industrial chain of "wind and solar hydrogen storage vehicles" integrating wind energy, photovoltaic, solar thermal, hydrogen energy, energy storage, and new energy heavy trucks, using green energy to produce zero-carbon products and promoting the gradual formation of a zero-carbon industrial system.

Explore the formulation of zero-carbon park standards and carry out green product certification

He Hongzhi, director of the Development and Investment Promotion Bureau of the Mengsu Economic Development Zone, said.

The Ordos Zero-Carbon Industrial Park is the first to try and explore.

"We have built scientific and technological talent service bases such as zero-carbon creation center, Qingqing guest house, and experimental transformation base, and built high-energy science and technology innovation platforms such as Ordos New Energy Research Institute and Hydrogen Energy Key Equipment Testing and Demonstration R&D Center, so that enterprises can seamlessly connect and integrate into the upstream and downstream industrial chain of 'wind and solar hydrogen storage vehicles' new energy." In terms of standard formulation, in recent years, Ordos has successively issued a number of local standards for the construction of zero-carbon parks. "We have also jointly formulated the national standard "Guidelines for the Construction of Zero-carbon Industrial Parks" with the China National Institute of Standardization, which is planned to be released in the first half of this year and will be tested in practice in the park."
