Recently, the Wulong Yinpan Pumped Storage Power Station project was approved, marking that this major energy construction project is about to enter the substantive construction stage.

It is reported that the Wulong Yinpan Pumped Storage Power Station project is located in Wenfu Township and Jiangkou Town, Wulong District, with a total investment of 960 million yuan.

專案將新建4台單機容量30萬千瓦(即300兆瓦)的立軸單級混流可逆式水輪機組，總裝機容量高達120萬千瓦。

電站設計巧妙，不僅能夠有效調節電網負荷，實現調峰、填谷、儲能等多重功能，還具備240萬千瓦的調峰能力，為重慶電網的安全穩定運行提供堅實保障。

每年可節約系統標煤耗41萬噸，減少二氧化碳排放量107萬噸，二氧化硫排放量0.3萬噸，為實現“雙碳”目標貢獻重要力量。

After the power station is put into operation, it can effectively alleviate the peak regulation pressure of Chongqing power grid, ensure the safe, stable and economic operation of the power grid, accelerate the construction of a flexible, clean, safe and efficient energy system, effectively help the implementation of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle strategy, and play a positive role in the high-quality development of the local economy.

As a major project with in-depth docking, high maturity and strong industry representativeness, Yinpan Pumped Storage Power Station has completed the feasibility study and is about to be approved and started. (Liao Xingchen)
