At the ceremony site, accompanied by traditional classical mourning music, the links of welcoming the soul, burial, and covering the soil were carried out in turn, and the ashes of the 10 deceased were collectively buried under a well-arranged lawn. Under the guidance of the ceremonial master, the participants collectively bowed in silence and presented flowers to express their deep remembrance and longing for the deceased, and the whole burial process was solemn and solemn.
The ecological burial adopts the method of lawn burial, using degradable environmentally friendly materials to hold the ashes of the deceased and bury them under the lawn. After a period of time, the ashes will merge with the earth, the deceased will return to nature, and life will be continued and sublimated in another way. Compared with the traditional burial form, this kind of ecological burial is not only green and environmentally friendly, but also saves land and can make better use of land resources.
The event was hosted by the Civil Affairs Bureau, undertaken by the District Civil Affairs Bureau and Yuxi Fushou Expo Park, and has been held for two sessions so far, providing free ecological burials for 312 deceased. The activity not only allows the deceased to "pass away in peace", but also promotes the concept of green funeral to the general public, so that more people can understand and accept ecological burial, actively advocate funeral reform, and establish a new style of civilization.
In recent years, Yuxi City has vigorously advocated and promoted cremation, and actively explored land-saving ecological burial methods such as ash storage, tree burial, lawn burial, and deep burial without leaving graves. In the next step, Yuxi City will establish ecological parks in various cemeteries, strengthen the promotion of land-saving ecological burials, implement land-saving ecological burial methods, and promote the construction of ecological civilization in the field of funerals to a new level.
