3月29日淩晨，在雲南昆明長水機場，皎月銀輝與跑道應急燈光交相輝映，引擎轟鳴聲刺破長空。6時許，中國雲南救援醫療隊一行37人，攜帶全功能生命探測儀、地震預警系統、便攜式衛星、無人機等應急救援物資共112台套從昆明長水國際機場出征赴緬。

　　這場跨國馳援，始於中南半島上的劇烈震顫。據中國地震台網測定，3月28日14時20分、32分，緬甸連續發生7.9級、6.4地震，造成了緬甸實皆省、曼德勒省和撣邦等多地重大人員傷亡及財產損失。

China and Myanmar are connected by mountains and rivers, and have lived next to each other for generations, with a deep and long-standing friendship of "compatriots". "When one side is in trouble, all sides support. In the face of disaster, there are no borders. Mu Shuyuan, captain of the Kunming team of the National Tunnel Emergency Rescue China Railway Second Bureau, told reporters that after the earthquake in Myanmar, the team quickly entered a state of readiness. The notice of the higher authorities to set up a rescue medical team was issued, and the team members enthusiastically signed up. "Before the expedition, the support of my family also gave me strength and strengthened my determination to complete this cross-border rescue mission."

　　來自雲南省疾控中心的何繼波告訴記者，這次跨國救援他們選派了5名專家，與雲南省第一人民醫院骨幹力量共同組建了醫療防疫隊。奔赴災區后，隊伍將承擔緊急醫療救援、公共衛生狀況評估、風險識別及災後疾病防控等相關工作。何繼波說：“我參加過汶川地震救援工作，2015年又投身尼泊爾大地震的跨國救援，一晃10年過去了，如今再次踏上征程。”
