3月26日，由中鐵十四局承建的世界首條設計時速350公里單洞雙線高鐵海底隧道——汕（汕頭）汕（汕尾）高鐵汕頭灣海底隧道成功貫通。該隧道全長9781米，最深處距離海面98.5米。
