3月22日，臨沭縣組織開展“走讀山東”外國友人感知體驗臨沭活動，邀請來自巴基斯坦、阿富汗、摩洛哥等國家的10名臨沂大學外國留學生，參觀魯美達工藝品有限公司、臨沭街道桃官社區草莓採摘園等處，沉浸式感受世界手工藝城市的獨特魅力和鄉村振興的發展成果。

在臨沭魯美達工藝品有限公司的創客博物館，留學生們見證了一根杞柳的蛻變之旅。“這些包包像LV、PRADA這些國際品牌一樣時尚，太漂亮了，我很喜歡。”來自剛果的MONEKENE GUYORVIE SURPRISE挎著柳編包包驚歎。看著博物館內陳列著數萬種柳草、柳藤寺、柳布、柳鐵等多材質融合的現代工藝品，當得知臨沭柳編技藝已傳承一千余年時，留學生們紛紛舉起手機記錄這璀璨的東方文化結晶。
