Yuelian, a Hanfu model from Nanjing, and Dina, a Moroccan singer, and her friends met by chance on the side of the Jiuqu Bridge in Yu Garden.

"There are very modern things here, but also themed pavilions that are in line with traditional Chinese culture. Compared with other cities, I think it (Yu Garden) is more colorful and fashionable. So if we want to shoot something like Sino-foreign communication, or some creative and innovative content, it is very suitable here. Yue Lian told The Paper reporter that she is a junior majoring in English at Nanjing Normal University, and she is also a Hanfu model and blogger.

On the night of the opening of the Yu Garden Flower Dynasty Festival, Yuelian was dressed in the costume of the peach blossom god and came to shoot with the makeup girl. "I think it does a good job of combining the light show with the Flower God Festival, and it has a sense of color. So it's a new birth, digging something new out of something old and then blending it together nicely. Yuelian thinks that how to bring out the traditional garden and cater to the trend of the new era is also something that other cities should learn.

According to Yuyuan Mall, Shanghai Yuyuan Garden has held 3 consecutive Flower Dynasty Festivals. This year's Flower Dynasty Festival not only retains the rituals of worshipping the god of flowers, hairpins, and appreciating red, but also transforms the one-way cultural display into a multi-dimensional participation experience through scene reconstruction, rejuvenation, and cross-border linkage, and pays more attention to the dialogue with young people in the continuous iteration and upgrading. Through the spring narrative that integrates Chinese and Western cultures, Yuyuan Mall hopes to provide a more international consumer service experience for tourists at home and abroad, so that foreign friends can immerse themselves in the aesthetics of oriental life, and also integrate traditional culture into the life of the public.

During the Mid-Spring Flower Festival, visitors wearing traditional Chinese costumes can be seen everywhere in the Yuyuan Garden Mall.
