The Miami Heat was widely credited with the beginning of the superteam concept when they combined LeBron James and Chris Bosh with Dwyane Wade in 2010.

The Heat have three of the league's top 10 players, but Wade said there have been star-studded teams long before that. He made this point in a recent interview with HoopsHype.

韋德說芝加哥公牛隊、底特律活塞隊和波士頓塞爾特人隊在20世紀80年代和90年代都擁有頂尖的天賦。

"Not responsible for the superteam," Wade said. "Probably responsible for the players coming together to make decisions. I don't know what happened before us. We've definitely seen Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman play. We've definitely seen Magic Johnson play with many great Hall of Famer players. We've looked at Larry Bird, Robert Parish, Kevin McHale, and many more. We've seen this before. ”

Wade said he feels the Heat are under more scrutiny and that times are different.

"We're in the age of social media and what's more, from a distance, it's the clubs that make deals and operate to bring these superteams together. We live in a time that is controversial and the players decided to do it in their prime. You see some people who only get together when they're a little older. ”
