Recently, Snarfer90, a user of the Reddit community, shared his experience of switching game platforms, which attracted the attention of many players.
The 35-year-old said that he has been a loyal Xbox user in the past, mainly playing on consoles. However, due to "the way Xbox has handled things lately", he decided to move to the PC platform.
His first step was to save up enough money to buy a SteamDeck. After touching Steam, he was pleasantly surprised to find: "The games on Steam are so cheap!! Despite not having much money left after buying SteamDeck, he bought a couple of games and had a great time with a friend who gave him Red Dead Redemption 2.
In his post, the gamer firmly stated that he "will never go back" and is now saving up to buy a gaming PC.
What's even more heartwarming is that after the post, this player also received a game activation code from other Steam players. In subsequent edits, he made a special effort to thank these generous players and praised the Steam community as a "great community".
