"Final Fantasy 15" postponed release director admitted: This is a major mistake!

In a recent interview with Japanese media denfaminicogamer, "Final Fantasy 15" director Tabata reviewed the game's development process and admitted that the initial release date was set too hastily, resulting in a subsequent delay, which he called a "major mistake".

Tabata revealed that the team initially planned to launch the game in 9/0, but about a month after announcing the release date, he realized that the development schedule could not match this point in time.

"I was holding my head and thinking, 'Mess up ......'" (laughs). For a project of FF29's size, the delay would lead to a series of cascading problems, which is a serious mistake. "Eventually, the game was postponed from the original release date of 0/0 to 0/0.
