For individuals, there are inevitably some contents in the computer that they do not want others to copy; For businesses, much of this data is an asset and should never be taken with them. So, how to shield the U port of the computer? Or don't let the system display the prompt of moving the memory device when inserting the USB flash drive?
1, click Start, Run, enter regedit, and press Enter.
2, expand the following registry keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControl.
3、 在control上點右鍵,選擇新建->項,命名為StorageDevicePolicies。
4To the right of the new item, create a DWORD value named WriteProtect and set its value to 0. Next, right-click on StorageDevicePolicies, select Export, and save the file as a y.reg.
5、 把WriteProtect值設為1,重新匯出StorageDevicePolicies項,命名為U盤只讀。
6, open Notepad, create a batch file YES.bat, save it in the C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32 directory, and the file content is: Echo off Reg import c:y.reg, which is used to import the registry file.
7Double-click the read-only .reg file on the USB flash drive to prohibit USB copying. To get back to normal, click Start/Run, type YES and press Enter.
8The above method is more complicated, and many people are not familiar with the computer, and they may still not be clear after reading it. If so, it is recommended to use the software directly to restrict the USB function.
9Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Download USB Forbidden Software.
10After downloading, unzip and run the general trend to the USB controller for installation. After installation, press Alt+Ctrl+U to bring up the interface.
11The initial password needs to be entered in the interface for the first time (note: the initial password should be easy to remember, and the password needs to be entered for each subsequent call-out).
12After entering the initial password, click OK to display the interface of the general trend to the USB control software.
13, check the Disable USB storage device option.
14、 Click to enable control and select Hide Run to control the computer USB.
