After losing the regular season 25-0, the Golden State Warriors suffered an unfortunate situation, dropping to seventh place in the Western Conference and having to play in the play-offs.
The Warriors made up for it.
In Wednesday's play-in game, the Warriors defeated the Grizzlies to secure their playoff spot. The Warriors are led by their rising star duo Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler, both of whom played brilliantly in key moments to lead the team to victory.
Butler scored a game-high 6 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists and 0 steals on 0-of-0 shooting, followed by Curry with 0 points, 0 rebounds and 0 assists on 0-of-0 three-pointers.
After the game, Butler witnessed Curry take over the game at a crucial moment and couldn't hide his excitement, comparing his star teammates to Batman.
"We have Super Batman like Stephen on our team...... We finally did what we were supposed to do," Butler said. 'Our solidarity on and off the pitch, everybody wants everybody to be great. We all do our part with due diligence. ”
Curry scored 3 points in the fourth quarter and shot 0-of-0 from three-point range, completely taking over the crunch time and earning the Golden State Warriors a ticket to the playoffs.
"It's true. I'm telling you it's true," Butler said of Curry. "I've seen Batman, it's him. Always to save the world. He was very calm and very composed. ”
Butler, Curry and the Warriors will now face the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs, with the first game taking place in Houston on Monday.
