In recent years, more and more foreign friends have fallen in love with China's intangible cultural heritage and become disseminators of China's intangible cultural heritage. In the thousand-year-old pottery township, Qianshan City, Anhui Province, Pom Township, it also attracts groups of "foreigners" to come to appreciate the pottery firing skills.
春雨初霽,天柱山雲霧繚繞,沿潛河蜿蜒南行,忽見一組磚紅色建築映入眼簾,便是痘姆古陶非遺傳承基地。

"I am very obsessed with Chinese ceramic culture, and I am very excited to be able to experience the art of pottery making with my own hands today." The first time Achraf, a Tunisian guy, came to the Pom Ancient Pottery Intangible Cultural Heritage Base, he fell in love with it.
痘姆古陶非遺傳承基地最吸引人的地方,莫過於“龍窯”。“龍窯”百米窯身半隱於地下,由窯頭、窯室、窯尾三部分組成,如巨龍盤山而臥,甚是壯觀。
"I know that the Chinese refer to themselves as 'descendants of the dragon'. In China, the dragon represents auspiciousness and strength. Christoph Geithner from Germany saw the "Dragon Kiln" and hurriedly took out his mobile phone to take pictures.
"Water and fire are both good and earth are combined" - this is the definition of pottery in "Heavenly Creation". Qianshan City, Pomu Township is famous for ancient pottery, known as the "hometown of ceramics in southwest Anhui", the history of pottery can be traced back to the Neolithic Age, and Xuejiagang culture in one line and continues to this day.
2021年6月,痘姆陶器燒制技藝被列入第五批國家級非物質文化遺產代表性專案名錄。2024年,潛山天柱陶瓷品牌入選中華老字型大小。

In the handicraft workshop of the base, pottery turntables are lined up one after another. Tourists who come here to "check in" have rolled up their sleeves and are busy with great interest under the guidance of the pottery masters.
"A piece of mud slowly turned into the shape of a cup in my hand, which is very fulfilling." Christopher Geithner's hands were covered in mud, but his face was full of joy.
In the base, young people can be seen busy everywhere. Some of them are college students with artistic dreams, some are entrepreneurs who are committed to making traditional culture popular, and some are "enthusiasts" who are simply attracted by the charm of ceramics.
"In recent years, we have innovated and developed all kinds of tea sets and wine utensils, and actively participated in large-scale exhibitions at home and abroad. Cheng Boquan said that for foreign tourists, the next step will be to launch more intimate service measures to better promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries and further enhance the influence of Pomu ancient pottery.
