Focus on the needs of the object

Online ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities should take the initiative to care about students' content expectations and acceptance preferences, formulate targeted supply strategies according to changes in students' needs, respond to students' concerns with high-quality content that fits students' actual conditions, and ensure that the content of online ideological and political education is in the brain and heart.

Adjust the direction of supply and enhance the affinity of ideological and political education. Online ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities should explore the student-centered supply strategy, break the traditional "mode confinement" and "path dependence" of ideological and political teaching, take the initiative to shift from the subject-based and teacher-oriented to the student-oriented and literacy-oriented, and closely focus on the ideological dynamics, learning performance, psychological changes, and living conditions of the students. Follow the rules of discipline teaching, keep the value-led supply strategy and discipline mission unchanged, and run the educational, ideological, political, and professional characteristics of online ideological and political education through the whole process and all-round aspects of online ideological and political education.

In the process of content supply, online ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities should adhere to the main content of Marxist scientific theory, the party's innovation theory, Chinese excellent traditional culture, and socialist core values, and insist on strengthening the content supply of ideals and beliefs, patriotism, collectivism, and national spirit. At the same time, in terms of content selection, we will strengthen the publicity of outstanding student role models, peer supporters, outstanding alumni and other role models and ideological and political literacy, and motivate students to be upward and good with the role models around them that are easier for students to accept, emulate and learn.
