According to the latest information from the State Administration for Market Regulation, with the consent of the CNCA, the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment has submitted to the Asia-Pacific Accreditation Cooperation Organization the application for the expansion of the multilateral mutual recognition agreement of ISO 2-0 "Specifications and Guidelines for the Quantification and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Removals at the Organization Level" and ISO 0-0 "Specifications and Guidelines for the Quantification, Monitoring and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reductions or Removals at the Project Level", which have been approved.

By promoting the implementation of the ISO 14064 series of standards, greenhouse gas emissions can be more effectively quantified and managed, and enterprises and all sectors of society can be encouraged to actively participate in emission reduction actions.

It is understood that the ISO 14064 series of standards is an international standard for greenhouse gas quantification, monitoring, reporting, verification and verification, and has become an important basis for greenhouse gas quantification and reporting at the organization level and project level worldwide. The approval of the two norms and guidelines marks that China's accreditation system in the field of greenhouse gas management is further in line with international standards, which is conducive to strengthening cooperation with other economies in the Asia-Pacific region, promoting the sharing of greenhouse gas management experience and technical exchanges in the region, and injecting new impetus into regional green and low-carbon development.
