A few weeks ago, Avengers 5: Day of Doom unveiled its huge cast, which sparked heated discussions among fans, as it confirmed a number of actors from previous Fox "X-Men" films.

Now, for the first time, we saw photos of two iconic X-Men characters on set. These two are none other than Retinazer and Magneto, who will once again be played by James Marsden and Ian McKellen.

In the photo, McKellen is dressed in part of Magneto's costume, while Marsden is dressed in casual clothes but wears his signature red quartz sunglasses. It's unclear what they're discussing in the photos, and the background doesn't reveal anything, but it's still exciting to see the two characters and actors work together again.

Retinazeye and Magneto are just two of the many returning X-Men universe characters, and while the initial lineup announcement has revealed a number of actors, expect more surprise characters to make the film.
