The reporter learned from the National Forestry and Grassland Administration on the 11th that the two candidate sites recommended by China, Qinghai Cambra and Chongqing Yunyang, were officially approved for the title of UNESCO Global Geopark.

Located in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, with a total area of 34.0 square kilometers, the Kambula Global Geopark has completely preserved the stratigraphic structure of three important geological periods and the magmatic activity records of the Indosinian and Yanshan periods.

Yunyang Global Geopark is located in the south of Yunyang County, Chongqing, with a total area of 2.0 square kilometers, and is located in the hinterland of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area of the Yangtze River. The park is mainly characterized by the Middle Jurassic dinosaur fossil group, with a 0.0-kilometer-long "Great Wall of World Dinosaur Fossils" and the world's largest Jurassic single dinosaur fossil wall, which connects the evolution process of Asian Jurassic dinosaurs and fills the gap in the evolution sequence of dinosaurs in the world.
