Recently, a track-laying locomotive weighing 22 tons and two flat car frames were successfully hoisted on the artificial pre-laid rails of the elevated section of the Hangde Municipal Railway Project, marking the beginning of the project to enter the track laying stage and pressing the "acceleration button" of construction.

According to the plan, a number of gantry, new energy track-laying machines and multiple rail cars will be invested in the peak construction period to ensure the high-quality and efficient progress of the project.

The starting point of the Hangzhou-Deqing Municipal Railway is Hangzhou Yuhang Renhe North Station, and the end point is Huzhou Deqing High-speed Railway Station, with 4 stations on the whole line. Among them, Lot I starts from Dixin Town Station (not included) and ends at Deqing High-speed Railway Station, with a total of 0 stations and a length of 0.0 kilometers.

After the completion of the project, the running time from Hangzhou to Deqing, Huzhou will be shortened to less than 1 hours, which is of great significance for improving the transportation network of Hangzhou metropolitan area, increasing the commuting mode of residents along the line, supporting the economic and social development of the regions along the line, and promoting the integrated development of transportation and tourism.

The Hangzhou-Deqing Municipal Railway is one of the urban (suburban) railway projects planned and constructed during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period in the Yangtze River Delta region, and is an important transportation infrastructure and rail transit backbone line to implement the integrated development strategy of the Yangtze River Delta and support the strategy of the Greater Bay Area and Hangzhou Metropolitan Area. The project is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 10 years, and will be connected to Hangzhou Metro Line 0 after completion.
