Manchester City news: Pep Guardiola to 'go all out' with Real Madrid star offer 'off par'

Manchester City are reportedly looking to sign Real Madrid star Federico Valverde "with all the might" in the hope that a "strong offer" will convince him and Real Madrid.

Real Madrid has one of the best squads in world football. They pay their players the highest salaries of any club in the world, with Manchester City being one of the few to match it.

Manchester City are financially able to compete with Real Madrid, especially given the imminent expiration of Kevin De Bruyne's big contract and the reported departure of Kyle Walker as well.

Fichajes reports that with plenty of money, City are looking to snatch Valverde from Real Madrid "with all the stop" and he has been described as "one of the pillars" of the club.

The Uruguayan has played in all the matches of La Liga and the Champions League this season, missing only 53 minutes in Europe's top competitions.

Pep Guardiola is said to be a fan of his and Valverde would be "very positive" when he joins the Etihad Stadium. He is said to be confident that the midfielder will fit perfectly into his Manchester City side and is prepared to make a "strong offer" to get him.

It is believed that Real Madrid may consider a proposal that "goes beyond the usual criteria", with a suitable offer "attractive to both the club and the player".

曼城想要完成巴爾韋德的交易,他們可能不得不擊敗競爭對手曼聯,有報導稱曼聯準備了一份價值 1 億歐元(約 8500 萬英鎊)的報價。

They also want to strengthen their midfield but are also aware of Real Madrid's position.

Manchester City may have to outbid Manchester United's bid, with Ernesto Valverde turning down the Red Devils and they will not qualify for Europe next season unless they win the Europa League and their form will be untenable.

Manchester City may just need to convince Real Madrid that the sale, as well as the transfer of Valverde, is not an economic offer for the midfielder to beat other clubs.
