Cannavaro wrote: "As many know, we have jointly decided to end our working relationship with Dinamo Zagreb. The last three and a half months have been filled with hard work, long days, dedication and perseverance from the coaching staff and the players. We did our best to analyse, strategize, and apply our unique skills and knowledge to overcome obstacles and move the team forward.

Meaningful and lasting change and progress takes time, and for any team to succeed, it must set a clear path and avoid constant change.

There is no secret to success. As someone who has been fortunate enough to have reached the pinnacle of football, I want to say to my players – you have to work together, show every day, treat every game with the same importance no matter what happens, and be proud to wear the shirt of the club. Your performances in training and matches, as well as how opponents, clubs and fans perceive you, will determine how far your football career can go.
