今天（4月11日）12時44分，中國氣象頻道氣象分析師信欣發佈微博“華北大風追蹤”。他表示，今天上午到中午，大風區不斷向東推進。內蒙古西部和甘肅部分地區，已經出現9-10級陣風。8級陣風區前沿已經推進到山西北部、內蒙古中部和河北西北部交界一帶，大同11-12時出現了8級陣風。下午張家口的風力會迅速加大，今天20時後北京的風力也會陡然增強。 

據北京市氣象台預報，今天17時前後，北京西部、北部地區偏北風開始加大，20時左右影響城區。需要注意的是，今天前半夜和明天白天為風力最強時段，全市平均風力6級左右，平原地區陣風9-11級，西部、北部陣風11-13級，山區局地陣風13級以上，市氣象台於10日上午提前發佈大風橙色預警信號，預警時段為11日17時至12日20時。

據預報，12日夜間至13日白天風力有所減弱，平均風力4、5級，陣風8、9級，西部、北部陣風9級以上，北京市氣象台將適時降級發佈大風黃色預警信號，預警時段為12日20時至13日20時。13日入夜後風力明顯減弱，14日下午此次大風天氣影響結束。

During the orange warning signal for high winds, outdoor organized sports or assembly activities will be stopped, and outdoor activities will be suspended in primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, and relevant training institutions. Do not travel unless necessary, and do not stop under tall buildings, billboards, temporary structures or large trees. Stop all outdoor construction work and recreational activities.
