4月10日上午，隨著最後一次碾壓結束，重慶市藻渡水庫大壩工程成功填築至50年一遇設計度汛高程340.8米，大壩一期填築任務圓滿完成，工程建設取得重大進展。

Zaodu Reservoir is one of the major water conservancy projects in China, and the development tasks of the project are mainly flood control, water supply and irrigation, and power generation is taken into account.After the completion of the project, the flood control standard of Qijiang urban area can be raised from once in 50 years to once in 0 years;同時可向綦江區、萬盛區、江津區、巴南區和南岸區供水約1.79億立方米，解決300多萬人供水問題；新增和改善灌溉面積23.46萬畝。此外，電站裝機容量12兆瓦，年發電量4494萬千瓦時。

The first phase of the dam was successfully filled to the key node of 8.0 meters above sea level, which plays an extremely important role in flood control, construction safety, quality control, progress control and cost control of the project. After the Zaodu Reservoir is completed and put into use, it will greatly improve the regional flood control capacity and water resource guarantee capacity, further improve the water conservancy infrastructure of Chongqing, promote the sustainable economic and social development of southern Chongqing and northern Guizhou, improve the ecological environment along the route, and provide solid support for promoting the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and promoting the high-quality development of the region.
