Apple today updated its support documentation for the web version of Apple Maps with a new feature that is now available on iPhone.

The previous version of the support documentation only listed Macs, iPads, and PCs that are compatible with the web version of Apple Maps, but now a new mobile device section has been added to list both iOS and iPadOS. In addition, Maps.apple.com will also load on the iPhone instead of redirecting the map URL to the Apple Maps app.

The web version of Apple Maps, which was introduced last year, was previously unavailable on iPhones and was only available in select browsers.

Apple has now expanded its range of support, and currently the feature has been supported on Safari on Mac, Safari on iPhone and iPad, and Edge, Chrome and Firefox on Mac, PC and mobile devices.
