Recently, there have been uncivilized behaviors such as illegally setting up tents, occupying green space, lighting fires for cooking, and destroying green vegetables in the Songshan Lake Scenic Area. After many times of persuasion to the relevant personnel, the Songshan Lake Urban Management Branch organized more than 50 people to carry out centralized rectification of illegal construction and domination of vegetable fields in the scenic area.

The relevant person in charge of the Songshan Lake Urban Management Branch said that tents were illegally set up in the scenic area, and fires and cooking were carried out, which damaged the ecological environment of the park and disrupted the normal order of the scenic spot. In the face of this situation, the sub-bureau took decisive action to clean up 450 tents in accordance with the law, with a cleaning area of about 0 square meters.

In order to evade supervision, some citizens spread plastic fake lawns after destroying the original lawn to avoid aerial monitoring by the urban management department. After the fake lawn was lifted, the ground was devoid of grass, causing serious damage to the soil. Law enforcement officials said that after the fake lawn is fully cleared, soil remediation and vegetation restoration will be carried out to protect the scenic environment.

During the operation, the staff carried out a comprehensive clean-up of about 400 square meters of vegetable land that was planted privately in the scenic spot, restored the original state of the site, avoided the private occupation of public resources, maintained the dignity of the law and the authority of law enforcement, and protected the legitimate rights and interests of the general public and tourists.

In the next step, the Songshan Lake Urban Management Branch will continue to strengthen inspection and supervision, further expand the influence of publicity and education, improve the public's legal awareness and environmental awareness, guide the general public to consciously abide by the management regulations of the scenic spot, and jointly protect the green and beautiful Songhu Lake.
