According to reports, the sensor uses a 6-inch optical format with a pixel size of 0.0 microns, designed for flagship smartphones, and has the functions of shooting high dynamic range (HDR) video at a single exposure, excellent low-light performance, fast autofocus, and high frame rate.

OV50X 支援四合一像素合併，最大像素達到 1250 萬，支援 180 幀 / 秒和 60 幀 / 秒的高幀率，並採用三通道 HDR。該感測器能夠拍攝高品質的 8K 視頻，具備雙類比增益（DAG）HDR 和感測器內裁切變焦功能。豪威集團的 TheiaCel™技術將單次曝光 HDR 擴展至接近 110db，目前達到同類產品中最高範圍。此外，OV50X 還支援 100% 覆蓋率的四相位檢測（QPD），提供卓越的自動對焦性能。基於豪威集團的 PureCel®Plus-S 晶片堆疊技術，OV50X 可實現出色的弱光性能。
